ANGRAU - APSSCA Recruitment 2017 - 36 Seed Certification Officer Posts: ANGRAU on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Seed Certification Authority (APSSCA) invites applications for the recruitment of 36 Seed Certification Officer posts for Andhra Pradesh State Seed Certification Authority (APSSCA).
Educational Qualifications & Eligibility:
M.Sc.(Ag.) in Seed Technology/ Plant Breeding/ Agril. Botany/ Agronomy/ Plant Physiology (with stipulation that the Basic Degree should be B.Sc.(Ag.) (4 years course)) from any recognized University / Deemed University.
Knowledge of Telugu is essential for the candidates and they should be capable of interacting with the farmers. Candidates who are native of Andhra Pradesh only need apply.
Age Limit:
Candidates must not have completed 42 years as on 01-04-2017.
Relaxation of age for 5 years will be given to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/BC/Differentially abled and internal candidates who worked in APSSCA for not less than one year.
How to Apply:
Eligible candidates can send duly filled in applications along with copies of certificates shown in the check list attested by a Gazetted Officer in an envelope superscribed as “Application for the Post of Seed Certification Officer” to The Registrar, Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University, Administrative Camp Office, VijayaDurga Towers, M.G. Inner Ring Road, Guntur 522509 A.P. so as to reach on or before 16.05.2017 by 5:00 P.M. either in person or by Speed Post/ Registered Post.
Candidates required to pay Rs.1000/- (Rs.500/- in case of SC/ ST/ PWD candidates) through a crossed Demand Draft drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favour of "COMPTROLLER, ANGRAU, GUNTUR" payble at Guntur.
Selection Process:
Selection will be based on marks in the written test, academic qualification and experience. The Written Test (Objective Type in English) for 80 marks of two hours duration will be held on 28-05-2017 from 10:00 A.M to 12:00 Noon at Agricultural College, Bapatla, Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh.
