TNPSC Recruitment 2017 – 53 Assistant Geologist & Geologist Posts: Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has issued a notification for the recruitment of 53 Assistant Geologist and Geologist vacancies in various departments. Eligible candidates can apply online on or before 21-03-2017.
Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 18 to 30 years for Others [i.e. Applicants not belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/ DCs, BCs and BCMs] for Post 1 to 4, between 18 to 33 years for SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/ DCs, BCs (OBCM)s, BCMs and DWs of all castes for Post 4, minimum age should be 18 years for SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/ DCs, BCs (OBCM)s, BCMs and DWs of all castes for Post 1 to 3 as on 01-07-2017. Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess a degree of M.Sc in Geology of any recognized University or Institution for Post 1, Master of Science degree in Geology or Master of Science degree in applied Geology or Master of Science (Technology) in Hydrogeology of any University recognized by the University Grants Commission for Post 2, A degree in Geology of any recognized University or Institution for Post 3 and M.Sc., Degree in Geology for Post 4 or its equivalent.
Examination Fee: Candidates should pay Rs. 100/- (Rs. 50/- For one time Registration Fee) through online by using Net banking/ Credit card/ Debit card or it can be paid at State Bank of India/ Indian Bank. No fee for SC/ ST, Differently abled Persons, Destitute Widow of all communities.
