Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be 21 – 32 years as on 01-01-2016 (i.e he/ she must have born not earlier than 02-01-1984 and not later than 01-01-1995). Age relaxation is applicable to Govt. rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess MBBS or equivalent Degree from Medical College or Medical Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India with valid registration certificates under the Odisha Medical Registration Rules 1965 and required conservation certificates recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI) in case of candidates having Degree from University of Foreign Countries.
Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs. 300/- through challan (pay in slip) at any branch of State Bank of India (SBI). Candidates belonging to SC/ ST of Odisha and PWD are exempted from payment of this fee.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply online through the website www.opsc.gov.in from 02-11-2016 to 20-11-2016 and send hard copy of the online application with self attested copies of HSC or equivalent certificate, Intermediate/ Higher Secondary Examination Certificate, MBBS Degree certificates, Mark lists and copy of challan in an envelope should be super scribed with “Application for the Post of Medical Officer (Assistant Surgeon)” by registered post/ speed post to the Special Secretary, Odisha Public Service Commssion, 19, Dr PK Parila Road, Cuttak – 753 001 on or before 28-11-2016.
