Indian Army Recruitment 2016 – 170 SSC Technical Officer Posts: Indian Army Invites Application from married/ unmarried Male and unmarried Female Engineering Graduates for Grant of Short Service Commission in 48th Short Service Commission (Technical) Men and 19th Short Service Commission (Technical) Women Course commencing in April 2017 at Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai, Tamil Nadu. 1. 48th SSC (T) Men: 150 posts
2. 19th SSC (T) Women: 20 posts
3. SSCW (Non Tech): 01 post

Age Limit:

• Candidates should be between 20 to 27 years as on 01 Apr 2017. (Candidates born between 02 Apr 1990 and 01 Apr 1997) (Both dates inclusive).
• For widow of Defence Personnel with four years age relaxation – SSCW (Non Tech) – 19 to 29 years Born not earlier than 02 Jan 1988 and not later than 01 Jan 1998 (Both dates inclusive).

Educational Qualification: Candidates who have passed Engineering Degree or are studying in the final year examination of Engineering course are eligible to apply and should also be from recognized College/ University of India.
