Application fee: The candidates belong to Gen/OBC have to pay Rs.300/- for Diploma Trainee and Trainee Officer posts and Assistant Posts Rs.200/- through challan. The Applicants of SC/ST/PWD/Ex-Servicemen and all reserved category candidates no need to pay any registration fee.
Pay Scale: The Applicants who got selected for PGCIL Recruitment 2016 will receive the salary from Central government as follows.
- For Diploma Trainee and Junior Officer Trainee Rs.16,000 to Rs.35,500/- per month.
- For Accountant Rs.12,500 to Rs.27,500/- per month.
Eligibility Criteria for PGCIL Powergrid Recruitment
Educational Qualification: The candidates applied for Diploma Trainee Posts should possess Diploma in electrical engineering from recognised university. For Officer Trainee posts the candidates must have Post Graduation in HR/Personal management/ industrial relation or equivalent qualification. For Accountant Posts, applicants should complete B.Com or equivalent from recognized university.
Age Limit: The Maximum age limit for Diploma Trainee & Officer Trainee posts is 27 years. The upper age limit for Accountant Posts is 28 years. Age relaxation applies to all reserved categories according to central government norms.
Selection Procedure: The candidates will be selected for PGCIL Recruitment 2016 based on the following procedure.
- Diploma Trainee Posts: Written Test.
- Junior Officer Trainee and Assistant: Written Test and Computer Skill Test.
